Multiple Shadow Clone Technique

This technique is essentially a massive version of the Shadow Clone Technique. Instead of a few clones, it creates a few hundred clones (or a number of equal grandeur). This is considered a kinjutsu, because it can potentially be dangerous to the person performing it, seeing as how all of the clones are given an equal amount of chakra directly from the user.

Naruto learned the technique from the scroll of forbidden seals. Few people are able to use this technique effectively, due to the large amount of chakra it consumes. However, this weakness is not an issue to Naruto, due to his massive chakra reserves. Having such reserves allows him to create hundreds of clones while maintaining a decent supply of chakra in each one. This technique is also used by Naruto to train quickly, since all the clones share their experiences with Naruto, but it causes extreme fatigue with repeated use. Naruto is shown to use this technique on multiple occasions to form human chains, for both offensive and supplementary reasons.

God: Nativity of a World of Trees

After the Infinite Tsukuyomi is activated, the user manipulates the roots of the Shinju, spreading them around the entire world to encase those caught within the genjutsu. By ensnaring all living beings and connecting them to the tree, similar to cocoons, this will keep their now-slumbering bodies alive for all of eternity.

At the same time, this assimilates every victim to the Shinju, regathering the chakra into one location, in order to sprout a new fruit. The chakra can also be collectively used by the user of this technique, as proven when Madara Uchiha's body began to rapidly absorb the chakra of everyone connected to the tree during his transformation into Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. According to Black Zetsu, over an unspecified amount of time, those ensnared by this technique will be converted into White Zetsu. According to Minato Namikaze, simply cutting the victims loose neither wake them up, nor free them from the tree, as another branch will simply form and imprison them once again. Once the Infinite Tsukuyomi is cancelled, the branches, along with any preexisting White Zetsu, wither away and the entrapped people would be freed, assuming they have not already been converted to White Zetsu.

Infinite Tsukuyomi

The Infinite Tsukuyomi (Mugen Tsukuyomi) is a technique which is the key to the Eye of the Moon Plan. The user creates an empty dimension under their control, which can then be filled with the contents of their desire, using the power of the Ten-Tails to do so. While physically tethered and connected to the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, Madara was able to cast a similar genjutsu, albeit on a smaller scale, using only a standard Sharingan. After doing so, Madara could manipulate the otherwise blank and white world to create anything he wanted, no matter how detailed. To trap every living being in the world within this genjutsu, however, Kaguya's Rinne Sharingan must be reflected off of the moon's surface. In order to do this, with the exception of Kaguya who ate the Shinju's chakra fruit, one must first become the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki. The genjutsu can be cast using the eye that blooms at the top of the Ten-Tails' tree form or the third eye which opens on the jinchūriki's forehead.

Kaguya combined her powers of the Rinne Sharingan and Byakugan to enslave the populace. This technique can also be reflected off the moon, upon the technique's activation, the light from the moon's eye illuminates the entire planet, turning it bright as day and making it impossible to escape. All living things are bathed in its penetrating light and immediately placed under the genjutsu. This causes a reflection of the Rinnegan to appear in their eyes as they are rendered immobile, though their cognitive abilities remain unimpaired. The user can then use the God: Nativity of a World of Trees technique to ensnare the targets, assimilating their life force with that of the Shinju. Once this is done, the person is locked in a permanent genjutsu, in which they experience a dream world based on their individual desires, yet will live forever due to the tree's power, during which the victims are siphoned of their chakra. Once complete, those tethered to the Shinju will become drained of everything they once were and reduced to a shell of their former selves, ultimately becoming White Zetsu — ideal soldiers for Kaguya. Despite the seemingly inescapable nature of this technique, the Infinite Tsukuyomi can be countered through specific means: The user's Rinne Sharingan only reflects off of the moon for a limited period of time after the technique has been activated, allowing those who avoid its light to avoid being trapped within the genjutsu. Using his Rinnegan, Sasuke Uchiha was able to shield himself and his team by covering them with his Susanoo. Believing that this genjutsu was cast using a Rinnegan, Sasuke hypothesised that it can be cancelled by another Rinnegan. Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki confirmed this, but revealed that the chakra of the nine tailed beasts is also required, and that a person with said chakra and a Rinnegan user must form the rat hand seal together, though Sasuke claimed he would be able to cancel the technique alone using the tailed beasts under his control. Upon the technique's cancellation, the roots used to bind the victims wither, as do all remaining White Zetsu.

Sharingan Spying Creature

This mysterious creature belonged to Shin Uchiha. It had four small limbs and what appeared to be a tail, an askew mouth and a nose. Its single eye featured a fully matured Sharingan. The creature was very stealthy, able to spy at the gate of Konohagakure without being detected. Its vision was linked to Shin Uchiha and his son's, enabling them to notice the movements of their targets. The creature could also act as a verbal communication medium, seen as Shin received orders from his father through it. By taking on the form of Shin's Mangekyō Sharingan, the creature could use a type of space–time ninjutsu, although it is unknown if it possessed this ability itself or if it acted once again as a medium.

The creature was used by Shin Uchiha to notice the departure of Sarada Uchiha from Konohagakure. Upon seeing the vision, one of Shin's clones was ordered to capture Sasuke Uchiha's daughter. A bit later, after the clone clashed with Sarada, Chōchō Akimichi and Naruto, Shin ordered him to withdraw through the creature. Shin's clone and the creature then flew by using space-time ninjutsu.[2] Later, when its master was ready to begin another attack, the creatures teleported him and six copies of Shin to Naruto and Sarada. When the Shin clones betrayed their father, Shin attempted to kidnap Sarada and Chōchō for hostage purposes, ordering the creature to take them. However, Sarada caught sight and punched the creature in the eye, killing it.

Shin Uchiha's Space–Time Dōjutsu

With his Sharingan, Shin has access to a unique space–time ninjutsu. Being drawn inwards to a spiralling void focused on his right eye, Shin is instantaneously transported to virtually any location of his choosing.

This is done by generating a spatial barrier, that warps anyone and anything within its confines. It can even effect chakra-based substances. To fit the situation, the spatial barrier's size and shape can be manipulated at will. Shin is also able to channel the usage of this technique through his Sharingan Spying Creature. Doing so allows Shin to plan for a strategic retreat should the need arise. After being temporarily incapacitated by Sakura's sneak-attack during his battle with Sasuke and Naruto, the creature was able to rescue its master while kidnapping the former before any of the latter could react.

Manipulated Shuriken Technique

With this technique a translucent string, both elastic and highly durable, is attached to a shuriken, making it possible to alter its path after having thrown it.

An expert will have the ability to freely glide the shuriken in any direction with just a single movement of their fingertip. The first attack, challenging the enemy, is avoided and after a time-lag of several seconds, it will come from behind. Depending on the performance, the possible tactics can be infinite.

Manipulating Windmill Triple Blades

The user first attaches strings beforehand onto the tossed shuriken and kunai thrown after it, then one shuriken is pulled back using a tree as an axis, based on the yo-yo's principle. The other shuriken and kunai are decoys, and the true attack is the shuriken that is pulled back using the force of the thrown kunai.

The trick in making this technique successful is to somehow be able to read the enemy's movements, which normally would require the Sharingan. When using this technique against Orochimaru, Sasuke infused the kunai he threw with what appeared to be chakra. When fighting against a disguised Orochimaru, Sasuke combined this technique with the Dragon Fire Technique, sending the fire down a metal string in order to burn his opponent.

Lightning Transmission

Using the aid of a clone, the two Kakashi each perform the Lightning Cutter technique on opposite hands. Connecting their techniques together, they form a chain of lightning between themselves that is able to slice through objects such as tailed beasts' chakra arms with great ease.

Kakashi was also able to wrap the lightning around a target, thus effectively restraining its movements, as shown against the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. Raiden means thunder and lightning. With the "-sama" suffix added, Raiden is another name for the Shintō god of lightning, Raijin.

Izanami

Izanami is one of the ultimate dōjutsu of the Uchiha clan. It is a genjutsu which affects the target through physical sensations shared between them and the user, instead of affecting the chakra steams of the opponent to perform the illusion. Like its counterpart, in exchange for the temporary ability that it grants the user, the Sharingan with which Izanami is cast is rendered blind and loses its light forever. According to Itachi, this technique and Izanagi form a pair, but unlike the latter, which is a technique capable of altering destiny, Izanami is instead one that decides it. Whilst under the effects of the technique, the target stands motionlessly as the loop of events continually replays inside their mind. Each time a loop is repeated, any physical damage incurred is reset as it were before the start of the loop, although the remains of severed appendages do not disappear. The illusion of the user and anyone they were fighting alongside also have any damage reset as well such as the blindness that comes with Izanami. Despite being able to become consciously aware of their situation and act differently, the victim is unable to significantly alter or escape from the inevitable progression of these events as the illusions they're fighting will also quickly adapt to their changes in order to force the victim to experience the memorised sensations.

However, because this technique was created to reprimand and save the users of Izanagi, the victim is able to escape the infinite loop if they can acknowledge the real results of their actions and in doing so, accept their fate. In the anime, it's shown that there is no other way to undo this technique even by someone who has complete control over their chakra. The illusion of the caster also seems to be sentient as the illusionary Itachi was shown to be shaking his head when Kabuto futilely tried to undo the technique without accepting his fate first. The illusion of the user and anyone they're fighting alongside also repeats their verbal actions such as the illusionary Itachi telling the Illusionary Sasuke not to leave his side, an action Itachi did to Sasuke. The illusion of the user will continuously tell the victim to take a closer look at them and knowledge their mistakes until they do so. According to Itachi, there was a point in time where members of the clan abused the abilities granted by Izanagi, instead simply casting the technique as a means of escaping the undesirable results of their actions. Whilst this resulted in little issue if only one person were using Izanagi, if there were two or more casters, they would begin to fight amongst each other over personally favourable outcomes. Thus, as dōjutsu users were unlikely to succumb to ocular genjutsu, Izanami was created as a method to reprimand such clansmen, as well as save them from their own arrogance. By imprisoning them within an unalterable loop of events, the victim was forced to accept the reality they had created if they ever wished to escape the illusion. However, because of the dangers involved in using a technique with a way out in a real battle, Izanami became classed as a kinjutsu. Like the various techniques used with the Sharingan, this technique is named after a Shintō goddess. In this case, it is Izanami, who, together with her brother and husband Izanagi, created the islands and other deities of Japan. One of the most famous stories about Izanami tells the tale of how Izanagi goes into Yomi, the Japanese underworld, to retrieve her after she died giving birth to the Shintō fire god, Kagutsuchi. In Yomi, he manages to get Izanami and they both try to leave, however, Izanagi was not supposed to look at her before they escape. Right before they reach the exit, Izanagi looks back and sees her in a decayed form. Frightened, Izanagi flees from Yomi and blocks the cave. Izanami curses Izanagi saying that she will kill 1000 people per day. In response, Izanagi says that 1500 people will be born each day. In another variation of the story, it is stated that Izanami told Izanagi to leave, however, he came back while she slept and lit a fire that revealed her decayed form, prompting him to escape out of fright, and barricade her inside with a giant boulder. After his failed attempt to get Izanami, Izanagi washed himself in a stream. As he cleaned his left eye, Amaterasu was born, as he cleaned his right eye, Tsukuyomi was born, and as he cleaned his nose, Susanoo was born.

Izanagi

Izanagi is a genjutsu that is cast on the user instead of others and is the most powerful amongst this type of genjutsu. When activated, the caster removes the boundaries between reality and illusion within their personal space. To a degree this allows the user to control their state of existence, but it is normally active for only the briefest of moments. At the same time, in the anime, a skilled enough user of this technique can expand Izanagi's range beyond one's personal reality, able to affect a whole swath of people during the technique's activation.

While the target remains physically real while fighting, this technique is capable of turning any occurrence including injuries and even death inflicted upon them, while the technique is active, into mere "illusions." Whenever the user receives a fatal injury, he or she automatically fades away as though they were an illusion all along and then returns back to reality; physically real and unscathed. The technique is based on an ability the Sage of the Six Paths had, referred to as "Creation of All Things" (Banbutsu Sōzō). The process he used is explained to have initially involved the administration of imagination, and the spiritual energy which forms the basis of Yin chakra to create shape and form from nothingness. Then, through the application of vitality, and the physical energy which forms the basis of Yang chakra, he would breathe life into the prior form. Thus, a technique with the power to turn imagination into reality was born, known as Izanagi. Izanagi can be used only by those with the genetic traits of the Sage of the Six Paths. The Uchiha, descended from the Sage, are able to perform Izanagi with their Sharingan. Even with such an eye acting as a medium, gaining the power to briefly control reality's flow as the user sees fit comes at a price; one has very limited reserves of time within a single eye for invoking this technique. This technique would normally be used for only the most dire of situations as after the Sharingan with which Izanagi was casted exceeds its limit, the said eye becomes powerless and is rendered blind permanently, with the rare exception that its sight and power can be restored to the said eye by further evolving it into a Rinnegan. For this reason the Uchiha labelled it a kinjutsu. Danzō Shimura, in an effort to make practical use of the technique, had ten Sharingan embedded into his right arm. To use Izanagi to its full potential, users must also have the genetic traits of the Senju, who are also descended from the Sage. Partially for this reason Danzō had some of Hashirama Senju's DNA transplanted into his arm, which extended the time span of each Sharingan's Izanagi to a minute, allowing him to use the technique for up to ten minutes in total, with breaks in between as he deemed necessary. However, because Danzō is not an Uchiha, his chakra levels drop substantially every time a new Sharingan is used to activate the technique. Obito also makes use of Hashirama's DNA but, in contrast to Danzō, he claims to have gained control over Hashirama's DNA and as such, boasts the completed form of Izanagi. Although, there is evidence to this claim, such as the fact he was able to perform it with hand seals with only one hand or no hand seals at all. As with many Sharingan-based techniques, the Izanagi can be implanted into one's Sharingan to trigger the technique even after the user has already died; Madara demonstrated such usage after his actual death, as opposed to merely negating a mortal wound.

Genjutsu: Sharingan

This is simply the generic use of genjutsu as employed by Sharingan wielders. By establishing direct eye contact with the intended opponents, the user can lock them within a genjutsu of their choosing in order to achieve various effects. These effects range from inducing instantaneous, but temporary, unconsciousness in an opponent to forcefully extract any valuable information that they possess controlling their actions or to show memories.

Using his Sharingan, Sasuke stares at his opponent directly in the eyes and they stare back. Then a shadowy figure of himself appears before them forcing them under a genjutsu. An image resembling his Susanoo appears in front of the opponent and grasps them as it begins "assimilating" them into itself. This breaks the opponent's will. Afterwards, the opponent is left incapacitated. Itachi is seen using an illusion that traps the victim in a dark empty space where their body is made of paper that burns from toe to head while the user is watching. The genjutsu will make it harder for the target to move properly. It bears a great resemblance to his Tsukuyomi, though it is used with the regular Sharingan. Obito's Sharingan was able to directly control both tailed beasts and jinchūriki, with his eye power being compared to Kotoamatsukami by Mei Terumī and Ao. Kakashi could use the Sharingan to hypnotise the target, making them make seals at the same time as he did, thus giving the illusion he could see into the future. He was also able to put multiple people to sleep with a single glance with his Sharingan, even shinobi of Anbu calibre. Shisui was able to render people unconscious with a single glance from long distance with his Sharingan. Madara's usage could control the tailed beasts like Kurama, or paralyse a shinobi with a single glance.

Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes Technique

Firstly, this technique requires the use of the Genjutsu: Sharingan. The opponent is caught in the illusionary world created by the user, and the victim is tormented with the sensation of having spikes driven through their limbs, taking away their body's freedom.

At the same time, the physical pain accompanying the illusion reveals that the greatest use this technique has is torture. As seen when Itachi used it on Orochimaru, it has been proven that one of genjutsu mastery may use the genjutsu even without eye contact. Orochimaru described this technique as a type of Temporary Paralysis Genjutsu (Kanashibari no Genjutsu).

Coercion Sharingan

With a single glance of the Sharingan, this technique forces a nightmarish genjutsu on the victim, overpowering them and bringing them to their knees.

Even the usually emotionless Sai was deeply affected by this genjutsu.

Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change

The user decrypts a genjutsu that has been applied onto them, and casts back a technique with identical effects onto the opponent.

It's a form of illusion reversal, but in order to instantly read through a technique and cast it in return, the Sharingan's power is necessary. As a genjutsu is initially used to confuse the enemy, this technique, which sends it right back to its caster, deals a high amount of mental damage, more than anything else.

Space–Time Ninjutsu

Space–Time Ninjutsu (Jikūkan Ninjutsu, English TV: Teleportation Ninjutsu or Transportation Techniques, Literally meaning: Space–Time Ninja Techniques) are techniques that allow the users to manipulate the space–time continuum.

By manipulating a specific point of space, the user can warp anything targeted into a dimensional void and teleport it to another location instantaneously. Minato Namikaze, Obito Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, Tobirama Senju and Kaguya Ōtsutsuki are skilled users of space–time ninjutsu. All summoning-based techniques are space–time manipulation related, as they warp the targets through a dimensional void to the summoner's location. Space–Time Ninjutsu allows one to bypass any Barrier Ninjutsu, as barriers only extend over the dimension they are placed upon, which cannot prevent Space–Time Ninjutsu users from escaping to the dimensional void and then back outside of the barrier's confines. It appears that each specific space-time technique has its own unique dimensional void that other techniques cannot normally access. However, a user can synchronise their respective dimension with the other one to gain access to it. To achieve this feat, however, requires much more chakra.

Asura Ōtsutsuki

Asura Ōtsutsuki (Ōtsutsuki Ashura) was the youngest son of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki and heir to his teachings. He is also the ancestor of the Senju clan, as well as the Uzumaki clan. Asura believed that love was the ultimate key to peace, and loved his father greatly as well. Though the son of the famed Sage of the Six Paths, Asura was born with practically no talent, but because of this, he learned the value of depending on and cooperating with others.

Asura adored Indra he would constantly devote himself to studying, aiming to be like his older brother. Through sheer hard work and determination, he was able to awaken his own power. Because he never lost sight of the value in people, he would ultimately become the successor to his father's Ninshū as Hagoromo wanted the world to adopt this way of thinking. Asura had short, spiky brown hair — two locks of which were wrapped in bandages framing either side of his face in a similar manner to his brother, and also had stern facial features. He also wore what seemed to be a blank forehead protector and at a later time, bandages around his forehead. He wore a light-coloured kimono which was adorned with magatama around the collar. The kimono was held closed by a dark-coloured sash. Underneath all of this he wore a black full-body suit.

As a child, Asura was considered to be unskilled, much unlike his genius older brother, Indra. Over the years however, through gruelling hard work and dedication, plus support from his friends, Asura came to obtain might rivaling his brother's and proving himself a late bloomer. He also awakened his own inherit power, his father's "body": life force, stamina, and physical energy. This granted him a greater longevity and strong vitality, as well as massive chakra reserves. He also became a capable leader, obtaining countless loyal followers. It was because of Asura's philosophy that caused his father to bless him with his power and grant him succession of Ninshū. In battle, Asura was seen encased in a three-headed, six-armed avatar wielding several dark-coloured spheres. This avatar was capable of going head to head with Indra's Complete Body — Susanoo. He was also seen wielding a shakujō, as well as a sword on different occasions. Hagoromo noted that Asura's chakra remained even after his body was destroyed, and it was reincarnated in various individuals throughout history who all inherited his will as well as the chakra and powers his body once held. His prior reincarnation being Hashirama Senju. When Madara Uchiha, the reincarnation of Indra of Hashirama's time, his power hungry way has led him to forcefully obtain Hashirama's DNA and implant it into his own body, thus, a portion of Asura's chakra, and the two have resulted in Madara awakening the Rinnegan. When Hashirama and Madara died, the transmigration circle resumed, and Naruto Uzumaki became the current inheritor of Asura's will. Asura's ideals also allowed his father to realise a new possibility for the world, and with this he used the Creation of All Things to separate the Ten-Tails' chakra into nine tailed beasts, gave each of them names, in the hopes that when the time came, they would to be reunited as a single entity, yet not as they originally were, and that one shall appear at that time to show them what true power is. The beasts would come to believe this individual to be Naruto centuries later. According to Black Zetsu, the reincarnations of Indra and Asura are almost always in conflict with each other and rarely work together. Naruto and Sasuke are one of the exceptions, assuming other exceptions have existed throughout the centuries. Ultimately, it was Asura's latest reincarnation, Naruto Uzumaki who managed to do what all of his prior incarnations had failed to do: end the rift created by the two lines of the reincarnated brothers, which Naruto achieved by defeating Indra's successor, Sasuke Uchiha, in their final battle, finally bringing about the end of the bitter feud that had lasted for centuries.

Indra Ōtsutsuki‎

Indra Ōtsutsuki‎ (Ōtsutsuki Indora) was the elder son of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki and the ancestor of the Uchiha clan. Indra was the first son of Hagoromo, inheriting his father's eyes: his dojūtsu powers (Sharingan), powerful chakra, and spiritual energy. From a young age, he demonstrated great talent towards ninshū and anything he applied his mind to. Because of his prowess, he led a solitary life — finding no need to depend on others. When Hagoromo was on his deathbed, he selected Indra's younger brother, Asura Ōtsutsuki, to carry on his dream of establishing peace throughout the world.

Angry and jealous that his father had not chosen him, Indra, being tempted by Black Zetsu, fought against Asura to claim what he believed should have been his birthright. Both brothers went to their graves constantly fighting over the title of ninshū's successor. His descendants, who would become the Uchiha clan, would continue this fight with his younger brother's descendants, the Senju clan never knowing how or why their hatred of each other came to be. Recognising his own talents, Indra became proud and independent, determined to walk his own path unaided. He believed that force and strength were the ultimate key to peace. Although he loved his father greatly, he later came to despise both him and Asura due to the former's decision, and Black Zetsu was able to take advantage of Indra's resentment towards his brother, making Indra challenge his father's decision to let his younger brother carry on his will. Despite his status as a lone wolf, Indra was apparently able to find a lover, having gained direct descendents.

Indra had long brown hair cut short on top, with two locks wrapped in bandages framing either side of his face. His eyebrows were cut short — a symbol of his nobility — and his eyes had blue markings around them, which were turned up at the corners. He wore a high-collared, light-coloured kimono held closed by a dark sash. Around the collar of the kimono was adorned with magatama under which he wore a black full-bodied suit. He was also depicted in full-body armour. He had allowed his hair to grow out flowing around his attire. From a young age, Indra was recognised as a prodigy, even in his legendary father's own perspective. In battle, he also wielded a sword, showing some expertise in kenjutsu. In addition to his skill in battle, Indra inherited his father's powerful chakra and spiritual energy. Indra possessed a derived form of his grandmother's dōjutsu; the Sharingan. He would also awaken its advanced form: the Mangekyō Sharingan, which is presumably the spiral-like pattern that originated from his pupils and covered his irides, which was shown when he debuted. With it, he became the first known wielder of Susanoo. Attaining mastery over the technique and its various developments, he became capable of fully manifesting and "stabilise" it into its Complete Body form, dwarfing the surrounding landscape. Hagoromo noted that Indra's chakra remained after his body was destroyed and it was reincarnated into various individuals through history. Madara Uchiha, the previous reincarnation, helped create the first ninja village with Asura's reincarnation, Hashirama Senju. However, Madara eventually adopted Indra's ideology, due to various occurrences and continuously sought more power. His growing ambition led him to covet, and eventually steal Hashirama's DNA, inadvertently gaining a portion of Asura's chakra and implanting it in himself. As a result of this, Madara awakened the Rinnegan. After Madara's death, Indra was reincarnated into Sasuke Uchiha. According to Black Zetsu, the reincarnations of Indra and Asura are almost always in conflict with each other and rarely work together. Naruto and Sasuke are one of the exceptions, assuming other exceptions have existed throughout the centuries. Ultimately, it was Asura's latest reincarnation, Naruto Uzumaki who managed to do what all of his prior incarnations had failed to do: end the rift created by the two lines of the reincarnated, which Naruto achieved by defeating Indra's successor, Sasuke Uchiha, in their final battle, finally bringing about the end of the bitter feud that had lasted for centuries.

Chocho Akimichi

Chocho Akimichi (Akimichi Chocho) is a kunoichi and a member of Konohagakure's Akimichi Clan. Like her father, Chōchō never turns down an invitation when it comes to food. This is evident when she skips her training with her fellow Ino–Shika–Chō members in favour of going to eat with her sensei Anko Mitarashi. Rather than feeling guilty for this, Chōchō displayed indifference to the consequences. In stark contrast to her father, who was always quick to rile when his weight was brought up, she was easily able to brush off being called fat.

Her weight, in fact, doesn't seem to bother her at all, due to fact it was already from her father's bloodline after all. Rather, Chōchō appears to be quite confident and self-assured about herself — a trait she perhaps inherited from her mother. A few years later, however, Chōchō started to become conscious about her weight and would actively try to lose a few pounds, only to fail upon seeing her father's excessive eating habits. This, coupled with her own mother having no problem with their weight, has humorously caused Chōchō to believe she is adopted. She seems to be somewhat self-centred as she thought many situations revolve around her, as she believed that Shin and Naruto only came for her and that she and Sarada were looking for her own father. Likewise, her dislike in her parents' nature has made her become impulsively convinced that any random adults she finds impressive are possibly her real parents.

Chōchō is dark-skinned with amber coloured eyes like her mother. She inherited her father's brown hair which she wears in two spiky ponytails, with the rest flowing into her back, and a bang at the front which covers her left eye. She wears a sleeveless red shirt with white pants in the epilogue. In Naruto Gaiden, she wears a white kimono with a net T-shirt under it, a pair of black arm warmers, and a pair of black long shinobi boots. Like all members of the Akimichi clan, she's chubby. Also as customary of her clan, both of her ears are pierced by grey stud earrings. As a member of the Akimichi clan and her generation's Ino—Shika—Chō, Chōchō has begun learning the various body-expanding techniques of her clan as well as collaboration techniques with Inojin and Shikadai. She is able to use Partial Multi-Size Technique to expand her hand during battle. She is also deceptively fast, and was able to slip behind an opponent before they could notice despite them possessing a dōjutsu.

Sakura Haruno

Sakura Haruno (Haruno Sakura) is a kunoichi of Konohagakure. She is appointed as a member of Team Kakashi, but quickly finds herself ill-prepared for the duties of a ninja and the complications of her team-mates' lives. By training under her master, Tsunade, she becomes a strong kunoichi and an excellent medical-nin, capable of facing the challenges of life as a ninja, as well as help and protect her friends and loved ones when they need her. Initially, Sakura's overall abilities as a ninja were considerably less than those of her team-mates. After her two-and-a-half years of training with Tsunade, she had greatly increased her skills enough to hold her own against powerful enemies, such as Sasori, and even prove instrumental in defeating him alongside Chiyo.

Sakura's refined abilities has caused others to see her as a younger version of Tsunade, or even someone who could surpass the latter. This was further demonstrated during the Fourth Shinobi World War, where she earned praise from Hashirama Senju, Shizune, and Naruto for being a possible equal to Tsunade. Years after the war, Sakura's abilities improved further as she was promoted to jōnin, and later defeated Shin Uchiha with a single blow, forcing him to retreat. At the start of the series, Sakura discovered that she had an excellent control over her chakra, and thus, an innate ability to use techniques to their maximum efficiency without wasting any chakra. Kakashi pointed out that her ability to gather chakra from every part of the body and then using it with great timing made her superior to her team-mates in that respect. Her control has been noted multiple times as very similar to Tsunade's prowess. Even Shizune, a fellow student of Tsunade's, admitted to Sakura's control being much greater than hers. While this particular ability was never put to great use in Part I, her chakra control became a focal point of Sakura's fighting style and medical abilities in Part II. In Part II of the anime, with her excellent chakra control, she was chosen in sealing the Three-Tails with the Four-Corner Sealing Barrier along with Shizune, Ino and Hinata. Due to these skills, Sakura has been noted to have a natural aptitude for genjutsu, though thus far she has only been seen dispelling it, even Kabuto's sleep-inducing genjutsu. In the anime before the Chūnin Exams, she could instantly recognise a genjutsu casted by a disguised Iruka trying to trick her into not participating in the exams, noting Sasuke would never ask her out, and only playing along to find out who casted the genjutsu. She could also decipher at the start of the Chūnin Exams that they were trapped in a surrounding-altering genjutsu. Two years after the Fourth Shinobi World War, she ultimately became so resistant to the effects of genjutsu that she was the only one in her team to be unaffected by Toneri Ōtsutsuki's genjutsu trap.

The pinnacle of Sakura's control was seen during the Fourth Shinobi World War; for over three years, she has stored up huge amounts of chakra on a point on her forehead, developing the Strength of a Hundred Seal and the ability to release it. In the anime, Sakura could even exceed the normal conditions of developing the seal, learning how to continue building up chakra while still channeling some of it into her normal reserves to not hinder her as much in battle or surgery. She was also able to use the Ninja Art Creation Rebirth — Strength of a Hundred Technique in battle after releasing the seal. Furthermore, Sakura has shown the ability to transfer the chakra directly from her seal into other individuals, leading to her Strength of a Hundred markings to spread over the recipient. The chakra stored inside Sakura's seal is so enormous that she could distribute it to the alliance through Katsuyu on a massive scale. Afterwards, she powered several of Obito Uchiha's Kamui techniques in order to move between Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's various dimensions, and still had leftover chakra in her seal to spare.

Sasuke Uchiha

Sasuke Uchiha (Uchiha Sasuke) is one of the last surviving members of Konohagakure's Uchiha clan. He became a shinobi so he could someday grow strong enough to exact revenge against his older brother, Itachi, who had slaughtered their entire clan. Initially a member of Konoha's Team 7, Sasuke defected from the village to obtain power from Orochimaru, and later also joined Akatsuki, becoming an international criminal in the process. He later proves instrumental in ending the Fourth Shinobi World War, redeeming himself and his family name.

After receiving the Six Paths Chakra, Sasuke's left Sharingan evolved into a Rinnegan. Unlike Hagoromo's, his Rinnegan has a secondary state that has six tomoe around the eye, representing its full power. When drained of its power, Sasuke's Rinnegan cannot access this state for an extended period of time, until after its restoration, likewise affecting his Mangekyō Sharingan. As a true wielder, Sasuke can deactivate his Rinnegan at will, though, this was only after two years of mastering it. As a result, using the Rinnegan repeatedly seems to require Sasuke to close his eye to recharge (or at least speed it up), although it doesn't seem to exhaust him due to his massive reserves. Over-usage will begin straining him, as seen in his final battle with Naruto and it had to keep it closed for the remainder of the battle. Though his Rinnegan manifested only in one eye, its power is still on par with its dual variant.

After Sasuke returned to the village at some point, he married Sakura. He has an illegitimate daughter with Karin named Sarada, essentially beginning the Uchiha's restoration — although it's unknown if Sarada was born before or after Sasuke married Sakura. After this, he called for a meeting with all the five Kage and told them he had been doing research and found possible evidence an army of White Zetsu as well as something even worse than Kaguya may be on the way. This information was decided to be best kept from the public as they were still recovering from the Fourth Shinobi World War. Sasuke then took the liberty of tracking traces of Kaguya's chakra, being the only one that can with his Rinnegan and left the village as a top-secret mission. While walking through a forest one day, he thought he heard a sound behind him. Instinctively putting his hand to his blade, Sasuke dismissed it as his imagination and continued walking.
